In British Period the Muslims of them Bengal Lagged Behind in education. At that time , the Muslim were under the fire of anger of the English .Again they were averse to English Education . So they were far behind in education, politics, culture, social, economics and status. Observing such kind of conditions of the Muslims some powerful persons came forward to get ride of them from that. Among them Hazi Mohammad Mohsin was the best.
Honorable Person Hazi Mohammad Mohsin formed a Mohsin fund with his vast wealth. At first he made a charitable fund with his wealth and turning it into Mohsin fund, he strongly declared that the fund money would be spent for the educational expensed of the Muhsin Children. As a result an epic making event broke out in education across the whole subcontinent. In this respect , Chittagong Mohsinia Madrash a was established for the spreading of Muslim education. In the Passage Of time, Mohsinia Madrash a was Changed into govt. Mohsin College with Mohsin High School. In the mean time , the muslim students were increasing day by day. So an education branch of “Angle – Parslan Department “ Was opened by the help of muslim leaders under the supervision of the principal of Mohsina Modrasha . In 1909, this department was changed into an individual Muslim high school near the paree hill of Chittagong.
At the eve of teaching in Muslim High School Bangla and Madrasha Education were taught . But in 1953, an urdu branch was opened for the betterment of urdu speaking students. For more Muslim students, the morning- Shift was Opened in 1964.
